warmread collects nothing.

warmread is a teleprompter. It doesn't have accounts, ads, analytics or tracking, and we never see your scripts, your voice or your video. Here's exactly what happens with each thing the app touches.

Your scripts

Scripts are stored on your device. If iCloud is on, they sync through your own private iCloud database so your devices match. We can't read them, and nobody else can either.

Your voice

When you turn on voice scroll, the microphone is used to follow along with your script. Speech is recognized on your device. Audio isn't saved and isn't sent to us.

Your camera and Photos

When you film while you read, video and sound are recorded on your device and saved to your Photos library. warmread asks only to add to Photos. It can't see anything else in your library.

Bluetooth

Bluetooth is used only to connect remotes and keyboards so their buttons can run the prompter.

Settings

Your preferences, like text size, speed and video settings, are kept on your device.
